AVG AntiVirus Free 7.5, PROGRAM update: build 476
A new recommended update for AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition 7.5 for Windows (build 476) has been released. It will be available for download as a installation package or update package. Moreover, AVG installations will automatically download this recommended update within the next 2-3 days (this is because of load balancing).
The latest update includes:-
Improvements
- Improved detection for some types of infections.
Fixed bugs
- Files are moved into Recycle bin on Windows 2000 with FAT32 partitions without delay.
- Fixed problem with some dial-up adapters detection.
- RAR Multi-volume archives are released correctly after test is finished.
- Fixed possible problems with scanning some types of archives.
- Fixed problem with blocking sending/receiving emails on Windows Vista.
- Fixed possible vulnerability in RAR archives unpacking (reported by Thierry Zoller, n.runs AG).
