Avast to discontinue XP/Vista program support in January

Beginning this January [2019], Avast products will no longer update [their antivirus PROGRAM for] Windows XP and Vista OS with new security features....

Older system users who have not updated will continue to be protected by the corresponding older versions of our security products, [and even will continue] receiving virus definition updates, but they will not benefit from the newest programs and features.
