Keep Losing Mcafee Virus Scan when I turn computer off

I recently switched to Mcafee. I bought a package deal from them. When I turn of my computer, I lose the entire virus scan component of the package. Everything else stays, but virus scan becomes disabled.
So basically everytime I turn the computer off, I have to reinstall the virus scan from their site.
I've scanned several times for a virus and come up clean...any thoughts? Thanks for your help!

Me too!  This just started and Mcafee on line support told me to uninstall it, but when I tried it said I couldnt.  had to go into the registry and delete it.  Then reinstall.   Worked for a while but its back now!  Did you ever get it fixed?

No, I never got it figured out. Thanks for the tip though..will try that and see.

My tech guy actually advised me to just switch to Nortons, so might just go with that thought. Thanks for your help.
