McAfee 90 day trial on my new XPS410.
I'm not a real fan of the McAfee software. Once my trial is up what steps do I need to go through to be able to install a different set of Virus, SPAM, Firewall programs such as Norton.
I've heard that McAfee is a real bear to completely remove from my system once installed and will cause multiple problems if there is any reminent of it left in the computer and registry when I install a different program.
How do I get it washed out completely.

First do the automatic uninstall, then go into the manual uninstall section where they show you where to download the removal tool. Do the whole procedure.
