McAfee Icon now Black
McAfee came with my Dell Inspiron 9300. I know it was only for a limited time only.
Now the icon on my tool bar is black. When I put my curser over it a bubble reads "Virus Disabled." Does this mean my McAfee is no longer in service and I have to purchase it?
How long does Dell and McAfee offer McAfee for the PC before I have to purchase it?
On the other hand, when I click the McAfee icon everything seems to be working.
What is better to use, McAfee os Norton?

Try running virusscan manually.
If it doesn't load and run then You may have something disabling the software. Try this link http://ts.mcafeehelp.com/default.asp?siteID=1 .

But it doesn't bring me to the McAfee purchase page either.
How long does the McAfee trial version last?
