McAfee License

Hi Everybody!!!

 

Well, I am proceed to tell to everyone my history.

 

I bought a XPS M1530 few weeks ago and the laptop bring a 15 month McAfee Antivirus License.

 

I need to reinstall everything, because I had the necessity to install Ubuntu, who works great!!.

 

When I finished with Vista Installation and McAfee Antivirus, I noticed a 30 days license.

 

I went to McAfee website and I send a message....

I enter to the website and It's the same initial webpage when I open the case......this is a support??

Anybody can help me to find my 15 month antivirus license? or Is it necessary to buy another antivirus software???

Until someone more knowledgable comes along, I might ask if you've accessed McAfee's Customer Service FAQ page?  Using the dropdown menu next to "Topic" and changing it to "My Account", might supply you with some answers.

Did you ever create an online account with McAfee, when you first brought the laptop home?   If so, scroll down to where you see, "Update your account or renew your subscription".  I'm not sure it will help, but it might.

Have you tried calling the store, where you purchased the laptop?  I would like to think, they would help.  Especially so, if part of the purchase included a 15 month subscription.
