McAfee email scan...

Hi. McAfee came installed on my new Dimension E521 with Vista. Every time I open Windows Mail I have to wait for McAfee E-Mail Scan to process all 3400-plus messages in my Inbox. This is a long, pointless, frustrating exercise. How can I get McAfee to stop doing that?
