I have an R6300v2 netgear router model and how can I resolve the security issue on my netgear router. Can you tell me the solution of this issue? I tried to create ready share network folder on my router but I couldn’t then I easily created ready share network folder from this link

I have Netgear router at my home, but recently when I was using my wifi a small window pop-up with a warning that the connection is not private, and that the “website” I’m trying to access may be impersonating, to steal my personal or financial information. Best if you can connect your PC or laptop directly to the router using an Ethernet cable rather than using WiFi.
Then open your web browser and log into your router's page by typing 192.168.1.1 into the web address (URL) line on your browser and pressing Enter. If that address doesn't work, try 192.168.0.1. It has to be one of those two IP addresses. When the web page opens, enter the administrator's name (typically = admin) and the password you set for your router.
Once you get into the settings app, look for the option to update the router's BIOS. I don't have that specific router, but on mine, that option is on Advanced>Administration page. Click the button to search for a new version of BIOS and allow it to be installed. Do not close the web page or interrupt the installation. When it's done, exit the app and close the browser. You can now disconnect the Ethernet cable and resume using WiFi.
You could update the router's BIOS while connected via WiFi, but the update will disconnect the WiFi and your PC probably won't reconnect to the router until you reboot the computer. And Netgear strongly recommends using an Ethernet cable connection to the router for updating BIOS.
