Possible McAfee FP on Vista systems.

Just posting to notify other McAfee users, My McAfee Security Center tonight quarantined C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CONIME.EXE as Trojan PWS-LegMir, further investigation points to this being a False Positive.

The 5409 DAT files contain an incorrect identification on PWS-LegMir. McAfee Avert Labs will be releasing DAT 5410  to correct this issue. The false detection is being seen on the following file:
  • conime.exe - Windows Vista console IME (MD5: F96EBC5A624349D81DCC7600A3C5DC43)

Reported to McAfee and waiting for a reply.

Thank you for letting us know! We already have one report of this on the HJT Board. I've referred the member to this topic. :)
