Trojan: Exploit URL Spoof, gen.

Hello everyone,

Peace and grace.

With my last post I realized I had jumped to conclusion and had not read all the available information.

The first trojan (fake alert) was detected and quarantined by MBAM on July 25th.  After I came across MBAM's log, which I did not read carefully when it was first created, I decided to Google "Trojan, fake alert".  When I clicked on one of the links (careful consideration revealed it was not a Microsoft link), I was immediately alerted by McAfee that it had quarantined another trojan, Exploit URL Spoof, gen.

At this time, I have 2 different trojans quarantined by 2 different softwares.  I ran a complete scan with MBAM and found nothing.  Is there anything more I should do?

Thank you,

Zandra

You are probably okay, Zandra, but just to be sure, it might be good to clean out your Temporary Internet Files by using DiskCleanup or CCleaner.

Good morning Sir,

Grace and Peace.

Thank you for your response and suggestion.  I have learned well from you and others.  I ran CCleaner immediately after the full scan.

May God continue to bless you and your family.

Zandra
