For futher clarification. I have visited the Symantec site and downloaded the fix vundo software. I disabled system restore and restarted in safe mode. Ran the fix, restarted re-ran the fix, ran spy-bot, ad-aware, and re-ran the fix. I still have the bug somewhere.
The system is literally crawls. Norton said I had Trojan Vundo, located in a C:system32/ file. Now it doesn't see it, but I see the file when I run a search.
