Updates 10/15/19 - Adobe Reader DC, CCleaner (AUTOMATIC UPDATE!), Java
Adobe has released security updates for Adobe Acrobat DC and Reader DC, for Windows.
Version 2019.021.20047
These updates address
critical vulnerabilities that could potentially allow an attacker to take control of the affected system.
Available via the program's internal updater: Help / Check for Updates ; alternatively:

FWIW, I'm finding this Reader update to be very slow (non-responsive)… at least, on the one system where I've updated it. I don't know if it's just me, or if there's a problem with the update. As such, I suggest people wait a bit, to see if others report the same issue (which may result in a patched version).

I do NOT use/need Java. For the sake of those who still do, Oracle released new updates; see https://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/overview/index.html

ky, thanks for this info. As you know, I have always opposed automatic downloads of software for any non-security updates. I have never considered CCleaner a security product.
I am very disappointed that CCleaner has taken this step. I'm glad I froze my version long before this development.
