Windows update not working and Google Search Engine takes me to random website

Hello

I recently bought a Dell laptop
Windows Vista Home Premium SP1
Inspiron 1525
and When i start it First time (uncovering the packing and opening the laptop) while starting it first time, it ask for many google products like Google desktop and google toolbar, and i selected yes. Then i face face many problems like

Problems::

1. Whenever i search anything on www.google.com and then click on results, it took me to the random page.

2. Unable to Update the WIndows vista

3. While checking for Windows defender update, it gives following error code - Code 0x80190194

4. McAfee installed in system by Dell which is not getting updated. It says "An error occurred while updating. Please reinstall these programs:
McAfee SecurityCenter"
Am unable to download the MsAfee from website. It says Page cant be displayed.

5. Microsoft Updates - Not working

Link - http://update.microsoft.com/windowsupdate/v6/default.aspx -- ERROR (Server Error in '/' Application.)
Link - http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/ -- Windows update didnt worked and www.msn.com opens.

I installed Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and it Detects (DNS Changer)and removes it, and when i again connect to the network (Switch On the WIFI Switch - which connects me to the internet) it again came.

I tried unstalling all the products but nothing happes, i still face same problem.

1. Do you use a router?

2. Post  the log from the last time you ran MBAM

The log is automatically saved by MBAM and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.

Sorry for the delay.

You may want to print out these instructions for reference. Since you will need to be 'offline' for this fix.

1. Disconnect from the internet.

2. Do a hard reset on your Router. The location of the reset button will depend on the make and model of the router, but most are on the back of the router.

3. Rerun MBAM.

4. Reboot your PC ->> Reconnect to IE and post the latest MBAM log and a fresh Hijackthis log.

Hi,

Sorry for replying after such a long time.

Thank you very much for suggestion, That was the exact cause of the problem. Trojan was in my system which got infected every time i connect to internet through my router.

I followed the following steps to remove the error

Log onto the router using the IP address that is in your
instructions - it's probably http://192.168.1.1/. Login will be "admin"
user ID with a password of "admin".

Once you are in, go change your password first.

Then go into the "settings" screen and scroll down to
the bottom. There are three lines for "static DNS". Change all of the
numbers in those lines (on the right side of the page) to "0" and then
save the settings. Exit the router setup and then re-try windows update.
If it doesn't work, run the Malware remover program one more time, and
then you should be OK.

This link defines the exact behaviour of the Trojan

http://www.trustedsource.org/blog/42/New-DNSChanger-Trojan-hacks-into-routers

Thanks

Yashwant
