dfsvc.exe? Is it a virus or a microsoft file?

Question

My machine is running slow and Dell support person mentioned that dfsvc.exe is a virus running on my machine. But when I go to that file, it says, it is a MS file. How t get rid of it, if it is a virus?

Try running your AV and avg anti spyware in safe mode.   http://free.grisoft.com/doc/20/lng/us/tpl/v5   If you want run trend micro AV also.   http://housecall.trendmicro.com/   You should disable your AV before running trend micro since having more than one AV enabled can cause a conflict.
