Vostro 270s with i3-3220 + LGA1155 socket CPU Upgrade to i7-4770 possible?

I have a Dell Vostro 270s with a stock i-3220 processor. I already upgraded to an SSD drive and added RAM. Can I upgrade to an I7-4770 processor since it uses the same LGA1155 socket? Can I reuse the stock fan and fan shroud? If not, which fan should I use? I already updated the Bios to A13.

If I can not use the i-3220 processor, what is the fastest processor I can use? Do I need a new fan and shroud? Anyone on these forum with experience?

Followup: I upgraded the processor from the stock i3 3220 to an i7 3770s. I used the stock fan, fan shroud and heat sink without problems. Had to buy thermal grease for $10 from Amazon.

Cinebench R20 went from 625 to 1347. The 3770s is currently selling for $82 on ebay for those that are interested. This is much cheaper than a new computer.

I used the "s" processor because I was concerned about thermal issues. It is 65 watts. The non-s 3770 is 77 watts.

I also added the Crucial MX500 500GB 3D NAND SATA 2.5 Inch Internal SSD for $70 and 4 Gigs of RAM for $18.

Feels like a whole new computer.
