Battery charge

Hello!

I have DELL Vostro 7580 and want to ask about the optimal ways of battery charging. Is it bad for the battery to be charging all the time, during my work at office and are there (for the newer models, as i heard) any automatic settings for keeping the count of battery life-cycles? Or i got to do it manually for keeping the power of PC between 30% and 80% (i know this is the best interval for keeping long lasting battery life, but not sure it's  valid for the newer models)?

 Thank you :)

Svetulcho,

It is not bad to keep the battery charging all the time.  There are no automatic settings for counting battery life cycles.

For my notes, click my username and send me the pc service tag number via private message.

Does it means, that i can plug and unplug the charger at any time, any levels, according to my needs? And don't have to be afraid of earlier "retirement" of the battery in that meaning?
