Dell Vostro 7620 Computer Dell Dock Dell Monitors Screen Keeps Going Blank
I am having a problem with a dual monitor setup. The monitors periodically go blank for 3~4 seconds, just one at a time, the other stays on uninterrupted. The data continues uninterrupted, (e.g. I can keep typing and it does not miss anything).
System:
- Dell Vostro 7620 Laptop, Windows 11 Pro, Version 22H2
- Dell Dock, Thunderbolt: Model WD22TB4
- Dell monitors 1920x1080, Model P2312HI
The monitors are older units, however they have never had this problem before. The prior setup was a Microsoft Surface Pro and dock which worked perfectly.
I have been chasing this issue since purchasing the new Dell computer. So far, I have tried the following:
- Updated everything (Windows, drivers, etc.), both manually and using Dell update.
- Deleted drivers for all video and monitors multiple times, replaced them with both Dell versions and version obtained directly from the manufacturer for the cards (Intel Graphics and NVIDIA).
- I reported this problem to Dell, they replaced the computer and dock with completely new units of the same model.
- The cables are display port (from dock) to DVI (on monitor) - Both cables were replaced twice with different brand cables.
- I even changed the hard drive, loaded Windows 10 Pro on the laptop to test the issue.
- I checked the monitors again with the previous computer, and there were no issues with screen blanking.
- I changed the monitor input from Auto to DVI
It seems that nothing I have done has any effect on the blanking issue.
Any ideas on how to solve this?

Update: The dock was replaced for sound issues (this is dock #3), however, the video issue still remains.
I still need a solution to this screen blanking issue.

I also have those random blinking and roughly once a week all my screen positions and resolutions are reset. I am starting to regret buying this laptop and dock from Dell.
