VOSTRO 14 3000 DISPLAY EXTENSION

I hope somebody can assist here how to extend display to 2 additional monitors (on top of the laptop display). Tried HDMI splitter but still didn't work. It was too late when I realized that this laptop doesn't have a USB type-C port so we tried to use USB adapter to connect the type C but still didn't work. Because we are desperate, I tried just a while ago to extend the display using video adapter USB3.0 to VGA/HDMI adapter but to no avail.

Please help. While I can work perfectly fine with just the laptop monitor, I am being desperately annoyed why this won't work. Also, it will be a waste of money of the company if the additional monitors are not used.
