Vostro 15 5568 install second SSD

Hello,

my Vostro came with a SanDisk X400 M.2 256GB and there is also an empty HDD space. Is it possible to install a second SSD 2.5 2TB in the empty HDD space? It's not the question how to install it. But the question is, will any 2TB SSD be compatible and fully usabel.
