Vostro 3900, video card

The 3900 is similar if not the same as Inspiron 3847.  With the stock power supply you can use a GTX 1030 without issue.

Short versions of cards up to GTX 1060 can be used but they require a power supply upgrade like an EVGA 750B1.

Windows 8 and up versions of this machine will require SECURE  BOOT OFF and Legacy CSM and option roms ON.

That card is fine.  However DDR4 versions of the GT1030 are VERY SLOW.
