VXRail initial setup- Network Query.
I have a query regarding the VXRail initial setup.
I have 3 x E560F servers, which comes with 4x10G SFP+ connectivity.
During the initial setup, Is it possible for me to configure the VXRail with 2x10GSFP+ . And later on configure the unused 2x10G SFP+ dedicated for VM traffic?
Any issues in the above configuration. Is this a good practice.

Apologies for the typo in the earlier. I was able to initialize successfully. During the initial setup, 2 NIC option was selected and disconnected NIC3 and NIC4.

Hi Sreez. Just wondering if you managed to initialize your VxRail with 2 ports rather than 4?

Yes. I was about to setup VXRail using 2 NIC's. This was a 3 Node E560 Cluster.

Thanks sreez. I'm guessing I don't have to connect the 4 ports initially just the first 2 ports and select the 2x nic option?
Another question, how can I specify a VLAN for management as I don't see an option during installation wizard. Do I add the VLAN to the ESXI hosts after installation throught DCUI after installation?

hi,
The management VLAN tagging can be performed from ESXi Shell before starting the VXRail initialization process.
