Can't Install DirectPlay in Windows 10?
I am uing a Inspiron 5548 Laptop and playing some games on Windows 10, which requires DirectPlay. But when I install it I have an error message "Error code: 0x80073701".
I've tried sfc /scannow in command prompt, but I get "Windows Resource Protection could not start the repair service."

Hi there,
When I activate Direct Play via legacy components the installation code runs. It ends with a message saying the machine needs to be restarted.
Once the machine has been restarted Direct Play is deactivated and I am back to square one.
Can you help? I've uninstalled Skype and turned off my anti-virus.

In my case there is no Legacy Components in Windows Features.
What to do. Can't run even GTA Vice City.
It show "Grand Theft Auto VC requires at least DirectX version 8.1"
Please reply.
