Dell Inspiron 15 7000 series 7537 freeze and show blue screen

Hello,

Please I need help. I am using dell inspiron 15 7000 series. One of the memory dimm slots stop functioning. If I put memory on it, the machine refuse to boot. My laptop slow down whenever I plug it on charge. I updated the bios and it creates a new problem which is worse than before. Now my computer goes blue screen on it's own, and this happens frequently. Sometimes the machine freezes, sometimes the keys on the keyboard refuse to function well. I am thinking it's because of the bios update, can anyone assist me with advice please?

Looks like a defective motherboard, if a memory slot does not work the only "fix" is to replace the motherboard.

This may also be causing the other problems.

I have an Inspiron 15 5577 and the new BIOS installed without problems, but I do not have any defective memory slots or other potential motherboard problems.
