Drivers for the device SMS/MMS for Windows 10 64 bit on Precision M6700 needed

Question

The device manager lists this device as "other devices" without drivers.

The Hardware IDs are

BTHENUM\{00001132-0000-1000-8000-00805f9b34fb}_VID&00010075_PID&0100

BTHENUM\{00001132-0000-1000-8000-00805f9b34fb}_LOCALMFG&000f

As you can imagine, I won't download anything from dubious third-party sites. I already googled for it. I also reinstalled Network_Driver_565N6_WN32_12.0.1.750_A03.EXE, rebooted, and it did't help.

Download the CAB file.

Move to my documents

Extract contents of cab file using 7zip right click extract here

Then go into device manager and scan for hardware changes

Any drivers say update from my pc instead of from the internet.

Based upon the CAB archive name, it seems to me that you suggested that Windows 7 drivers are used on Windows 10. Isn't there anything newer?

This one has nagged at me for a few years already, so I hope it finally goes away forever. Can't take credit for this at all; posts from within the last couple of years at both 'answers.microsoft.com' and 'windowsphoneinfo.com' point to a laptop having been paired with a cellphone as the cause. The issue seems to fix itself when that stops!

My Alienware 15R2 is about to take its last gasps, so I have not pursued it exhaustively. Wish I'd found an answer before I'd replaced the touchpad and battery.

Hope it helps those with more life in their machines nail it down.

I am giving any download link as owners with different models are replying on this thread.

Go to Support.Dell.com and Download following Drivers and install them in exact same order as below. Reboot after every install.

support.dell.com > Enter your service Tag

Chipset Driver

Intel management interface

WIFI/Bluetooth Driver.

Is this also neccesssary for Windows 11 and Dell 7706. Have 3 unknown bluetooth devices one which a compatible id shown in the first post. And did it help to reinstall drivers?

Hi, I met same problems on by desktop with WIN10 OS, some Bluetooth device recognized failed by the desktop or laptop. pls check your Bluetooth devices, deleted them all from your desktop, reboot your desktop or laptop again. the issue could be solved. this issue is not related to the PC drivers or chipset drivers.
