In my laptops startup winodws 10 logo not shown

When i start my laptop it only shows dell logo but i want that i can see windows 10 logo but when i went to microsoft support they said go to legecy mode but if i went to legecy mode then my data will be resetteed or it willl not be deleted pls reply pls
