Need help regarding recovery disc
Hi Dell Support,
I have upgraded my laptop from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10. After working on Windows 10 for some days i found some issues with it, so i wanted to degrade it to Windows 8 back again using the recovery disc which i got from Dell Technical support. Now i see that disc is not working properly and i don't have any recovery backup spare with me. If i am correct using recovery option from control panel will not give the genuine OS which i had earlier. Please help me out on this with a solution. Awaiting your response

If its a DVD it won't boot in a UEFI BIOS with SecureBoot. Dell Technical Support should have sent USB Recovery Media. You can rollback to Windows 8.1 by going to settings → Update and Security → Recovery → Go Back to Windows 8.1
You can alternatively Download Windows 8.1 with Update 1 installation media:
