DC1 DC2 DE error messages when I try to empty my Recycle bin

I was wondering if anyone has the knowledge to rectify the problem with my Recycle bin.  Large files especially Real and VLC are not disappearing when I try to shredd them they are remaining in my recycle bin when I then try to delete them with windows I get an error message with DC1 or DC with another number like DC2, DC5 etc with an Access is denied makesure the disc is not full or write protected and that the file is not currently in use, message.  The file disappears but when I then click empty the Recycle bin I get a Cannot delete Window or Windows error message I am not sure what one it is now.  It is a very annoying problem because when I sometimes try to move files it won't allow me to do so.  It can be very choosey about what files will delete or shredd

I am running a Dell Dimesions computer that came pre installed with Windows XP home edition SP2

Download and run
Replace/Repair the Recycle Bin in Windows XP

Save the REG File to your hard disk. Double click it and answer yes to the import prompt

Thanks for answering Dunedin.  I have run the Recycle bin repair tweak but the error is still happening it won't delete large files I got an error message cannot delete DC58 this time. A smaller Real file that was also in the Recycle bin was deleted however by shredder.  The same process is happening shredder doesn't shredd the file I manually windows delete it, it then disappears I click on empty the recycle bin even though the Recycle bin is empty and it then gives me the error message.  I think DC58 is the highest it has ever been.

Have you tried emptying the Bin in Safe Mode?

If that does not help I don`t know what else to try
