Insert the media direct cd and see if it will either repair/reload in windows.

There should be a Media Direct Repair Utility on the support site for your system as well.

Larry, I can't find this repair tool for my 1420.  Can you post the URL?  Thanks

Out of curiosity, have you already tried installing the SDHC patch for Media Direct?  I'm not sure if it would address the problem you are having, but it shouldn't cause any additional problems.

I checked and did not find the utility, so I am probably remembering the one for the previous version of Media Direct.  Booting into Windows and running the Media Direct CD as dgkpcon suggested does the same thing, however.

Hi,

I tried to run cd Media Direct into windows as you suggested, but I keep receiving this message: "Installation Error".

Do you have some other suggestion?
