Google Chrome issues

I recently purchased an Insperon N4110. I'm having issues with the Chrome browser. When viewing webpages or watching videos, the page seems to freeze. If I am watching a video, I continue to hear the audio, but the picture is frozen. If I am viewing a web page, the page's content will freeze. I can still click on the links that should be there, but when scrolling up and down the page, the screen remains frozen. It kind of looks like a screenshot of the webpage superimposed on the webpage. I can go forward and backward with the buttons, but when returning to the problem page, it remains frozen. Refreshing the page doesn't help.

Hi,

Did you check with any other browser to see if there is an issue? I would advise you to check with Internet Explorer. If everything is working well in Internet Explorer, I will recommend you to uninstall and re install Google Chrome.

To uninstall Google chrome:

  • Click on the Windows flag (Start) > Control panel > Program and features >Add/remove programs
  • Click on Google Chrome and click on Uninstall

Once it is uninstalled you can click on the link below and re install Chrome:

Once the re installation is done, please check if it is working fine.

If the issue occurs on Internet Explorer as well, try to update the video driver and make sure the adobe flash player is installed.
Video driver for Intel : http://dell.to/QI2i30
Video driver for AMD : http://dell.to/PWMLuI
Adobe flash Player : http://bit.ly/PaIyXn

To make sure whether you need the Intel or AMD driver. Click on Start > Type in Device manager on the search bar and press enter.
Check in device manager, it should be listed under Display adapters.
