How do I get out of safe mode?
Hello, I am running windows vista 32 bit and I can not get out of safe mode. My power went out in my house and when I started my computer it asked if I wanted to start in safe mode, I was feeling adventures, so I started in safe mode. so now I am stuck in safe mode and cant run windows normally. PLEASE HELP.

Are you sure you are booting into safe mode. Does it say safe mode in all four corners of your screen. If not then your display driver has become corrupted and is loading the default driver and your display is simply set to lower resolution. To fix you will need to reinstall your display driver. To run in normal mode you can press F8 at boot and select to boot normally.

The F8 key worked like a charm. I was able to run windows normally from there. Thank you very much.

pressing f8 still doesn't do the trick, u scroll down to start normally but it still in safe mode

i have tried f8 also and mine is still in safe mode and the montior is in power saving mode? please help ty
