How to get ATI Remote Wonder to work with MCE without MMC

Hi, I just bought a Dell E510 with MCE, and an ATI HDTV Wonder.  Using the KRAM drivers, I'm able to watch HDTV in MCE with this setup.  But since I didn't not install ATI's default MMC software, the ATI remote doesn't work.  And since I didn't purchase a MCE remote that comes with the TV tuner option for my system, I don't have that either.

 

Does anyone know how I can get MCE to recognize ATI's Remote Wonder without installing MMC?  Any other workarounds?  It's such a hassel flipping through the channels with mouse clicks.
