IE Favorites No Longer Alphabetizes
Good morning,
I use Internet Explorer 7 and starting several months ago, my IE favorites stopped alphabetizing all the new folders I added. After the last alphabetized folder beginning with W, all other folders are randomly placed. Does anyone have any ideas why this is occurring?
I delete temporary files, cookies and history on a regular basis.

Try the Restore Advanced Settings in Internet Options. Click on Tools then Internet Options then click on the Advanced Tab. Click the button to "Restore Advanced Settings" then click Apply and OK. Restart I.E.7 and see if that helps. The Advanced settings restore (reset) is one of those catch all things that fixes many problems and MAY fix your "Sort by name" problem.

I thank you Firebred and Mombodog for your timely responses.
When I first noticed the problem, after deleting the temporary files, cookies, etc., I returned everything to default except the add-ons. This, unfortunately, did not correct the problem. Mombodog's suggestion did.
