This model shipped in 2010. But if it was working prior to the reset, I doubt that the HDD died. Boot into the BIOS. Do you see the HDD on the main page? If the HDD appears on the main page, the HDD is at least being registered by the system. Go to the Boot section. Hard Disk should be first in the list.
