Keyboard and Mouse Set KM636 - Mouse not Waking up From Sleep on Scroll Wheel

Hi,

yesterday I bought keyboard and mouse set KM636. Looks nice and everything, but today I've just realized, that when reading a blog posts or longer texts the srolling via mouse scroll whell stops working from time to time. After some investigation I've realized, that scroll event is not waking up the mouse from sleep mode. From what I've gathered it seems, that this is intended behaviour. Can I change it somehow? It's really annoying - every time the scroll wheel doesn't work, I have to to move the mouse to wake it up again.

Thanks for your advices

Petr

Hi, I have the exactly same condition. I really appreciate any help. The sleep state is badly implemented and there may exist somehow to turn it off.

Same issue here, with a MS3320W mouse. Very annoying, and more so every day. Sleep mode is essential for battery life. Movement and click wakes the mouse, so why not the scroll wheel? The fact that it's happening on two different mouse models implies that it's intended, so I think the only solution is to get a non-Dell mouse.
