Microsoft Introduces Windows 7, Ending Vista Brand
Microsoft introduced what it said would be a slimmer and more responsive version of its Windows operating system on Tuesday, while unceremoniously dropping the brand name Vista for the new product.
Microsoft's Windows 7 to bring Apple-tinged design changes
Windows 7 will be lean, faster, and even embedded

Hopefully it will move from Alpha to Beta quickly.  I filled out my survey to get the Alpha code yesterday.

I  wonder exactly how much better it will be then Vista,although i have to admit I ablsolutley love Vista, I think it is great!

Guess I will find out tomorrow.  It is a 3 gig download which will take me most of the day.  I would think there will not be much of a learning curve from Vista, which I also think is solid.
