McAfee Security Center Window is Blank
Accessed McAfee Security Center Window (cant remember why) and it was blank. Mcafee advised (badly) to uninstall and reinstall which proved to be a big mess. (I uninstalled Security center first, not last, then had to resort to manual uninstallation of other Mcafee features...Firewall, VirusScan and Privacy). Reinstalled. Anyway, screen is still blank. Then tried changing desktop settings and fonts. Still blank. Had a previous problem months ago where McAfee was creating some kind of graphics conflict with another program. (When disabled McAfee, the display problem didnt exist) Any chance this could be similar situation? I am so disappointed in the help offered by McAfee and Dell tech support for the problem. I also tried a system restore to a few days before i noticed the screen, and wound up with start-up errors re: McAfee software, so i reversed the restoration. I'm talking too much. Help!

Try this, and see if it works:
Open Internet Explorer---Click tools--internet options--security (tab).
Click "default level" , then OK.
(Internet zone)

Thank you. I took your suggestion and the data on my Security Screen was restored. You folks on this forum are amazing....I spent so much time on 3 diff. chat sessions with McAfee and none of those techs made this suggestion to me. I am very grateful for your time. Next i will attempt to reinstall the McAfee privacy service!

I only use the Mcaffee anti-virus. And run adaware, spybot, and spyware blaster, besides a firewall. (Sygate)
I bought Mcaffee (It came with my laptop, so I decided to buy a Mcaffee CD from Wal-Mart.
Then I found out afterwards that the free antivirus programs are just as good, or better.
I used AVG, then swiched to AVAST when AVG was changing versions, but they are both fine, now.
