Need drivers for Inspiron N5030 for WIndows XP

Hello all, if someone could write me some links, where i can get these drivers for Inspiron N5030 for Windows XP, that would be great. Because I have laptop with Win 7, but i want use XP, and the biggest problem is that Dell Official support shows drivers only for Win 7 or Vista for my model. Thank You.

If dell are not supplying drivers for XP, then your out of luck. The only thing I can think off, is to go onto the Intel web site, and see if you can get your Chipset driver off them. The Chipset driver has to be installed first after the OS is installed, or the installation will not work.

As Robin said, XP is NOT supported on the N5030, which is why Dell lists no drivers for it.  There may be a good reason for it (hardware incompatibility) or it could be they simply did not test it, and thus cannot support it.

Why do you want to use XP anyway?

As Robin said, Intel is your best choice for finding the chipset drivers - you have the GM45 chipset:

You will likely need the Matrix Storage Manager driver in order for XP to see the hard drive (unless you have an XP SP3 CD AND the GM45 just happens to be one of the few SATA controllers that were added to it).  Make sure in the BIOS Setup that SATA is set to AHCI or SATA mode (not ATA or Compatibility mode - you can install in ATA/Compatibility mode without a driver, but it is a poor workaround - follow these instructions  (or ask for further help) to to it correctly).  Since you probably don't have a USB floppy drive to load the driver, you will need to use nLiteOS.com to integrate the storage driver into your installation media.

Once you get XP installed, then install the Chipset Software Installation Utility and Graphics Driver.  After that you can start looking into any other remaining devices.  In Device Manager, right-click any unknown or generic devices, Properties, Details tab, change dropdown to Hardware Ids, and provide the DEV and VEN ID's.
