Partitioning Software

When you say " I have moved "My Documents" from its default location on C:\ (Documents and Settings\Denny's Documents) to D:\. " where do I define the "mount point?" to XP, or are you saying to just drag and drop it?  If it is just a drag and drop, will XP and the associated software always use the D: drive or can some things assume c:?

 

I have a need to repartition 2 systems that are up and running so I'd like to use some 3rd party software that lets me do this w/o destroying the contents of the current partition.

 

Elsewhere I just read about something called Hiren's BootCD.  Have you heard of it?  I'm concerned about legality even though the link I found about it said that all the software was free or demo and therefore legal.

 

To me it feels too good to be true so I thought I'd check it out on this board.
