Problem with recovery partition

I have dell inspiron n411z. I received it with windows 7 home premium preinstalled. I tried to install windows 8 on it and now i am not able to recover factory image from recovery partition with ctrl+F10, it doesn't see factory image. Is it possible to fix it?

Hi Abravshan,

If the Windows 8 installation was completed or interrupted, you may not be able to access the partition on the system. If the installation was not initiated, then you can perform PC Restore on your computer. HYou may follow the steps mentioned in this link http://dell.to/VpM12n. PC restore will erase all the data and application from the computer and the system will be restored to original factory settings.

If you are unable to access the recovery partition, then a manual installation of the operating system needs to be performed. You will require an operating system disc for Windows 7. You may follow the steps mentioned in this link http://dell.to/Qe7jyP

Hope this information helps.
