Real Palyer down load require the VIRUS scan inactivated & the previous Real Player removed?

Hi

I am having a problem with the Real Player down load.

I have at present Real Player 10.

Real Player 11 Beta version is available.

 

I have once tried to down load the Real Player 11 beeta version today after which my McAfee site Advisor stop working and I could not play You-Tube clips!!

I have restored-back[backup & restore centre] and Real Player keep prompting me that it needs an update 10.5.

 

Should I have to remove the existing Real Player and then the latest version of the Real Player downloaded & saved to the desk top, disconnect the internet and inactivate my McAfee prior to install the version?

 

I know the question appear complex but I am asking as to how should I go about doing it in VISTA? because I am having trouble in doing the download.

 

Please help me.
