Sending mp3 file as email attachment

I tried attaching an mp3 music file to an email but I couldn't send it.  This is my first try at sending an mp3 file.  Could you please advise me?  Thanks!

What e-mail program are you using?  And what is the size of the MP3 file?  Also, many ISP's have a maximum limit on file sizes that you can send and that may be your problem.

For email I use the webmail.att.net message center.  The size is 3836 KB.  Is there a way of making it smaller?

I've used a  program called "You Send It"  to send huge files; works great and is free too.

It sounds more like how you are attaching it for the ATT webmail.  Check the help file for the webmail and make sure you are doing it correctly.

Fireberd, I tried again after checking the help file as you suggested and I was successful this time.  Thanks.

Tommyo, the "You Send It" program sounds useful.  I tried googling it to find it but wasn't able to.  Could you please tell me where to find it.  Thanks.

You're welcome; any time.  I've used that You Send It to send my nephew large photo albums, and even a few music albums too; works great. I can't remember the size limit right now at this typing, but it is very, very large..... it allows for sending some mighty huge files !    Take care...:smileyhappy:
