UPEK Protector Suite 2009 and Dell Latitude E5520 Laptop
So my user ordered a finger print reader to work with his E5520 laptop and when I went to install it, it says there is "currently a version of finger print software installed, please remove it and reinstall."
What does Dell come with that is acting like a finger print reader even though there isn't a finger print reader built into this laptop?

Yeah but how do I remove what is on there? I don't see it anywhere to remove.

Looking at the Dell downloads for this model it shows "Authentec Windows Biometric Framework Integrated" for Windows 7 and some UPEK software. This probably what is pre-installed. The actual fingerprint reader is an option when it is ordered.
