Windows Installer running on Dell Media Experience Start-up

I cleaned my registry up today - - there were some left-over "orphan" keys to a problematic program I never used an un-installed. Now Windows Installer runs and throws a pop-up window briefly each time I start the Dell Media Experience program. I've run Registry Mechanic and checked the Roxio / Sonic Solutions sites for a patch. I remember running across this issue on the Forum about a year ago.....Now I can't find anything, including in the FAQs.

You could try a System Restore using the last restore point before you messed with the registry. That should put everything back the way it was before you mucked it up. ;) Personal files won't be affected.

Or, you can try Microsoft Installer Cleanup Utility, free here:

When prompted, pick Media Experience from the list.
