Windows Vista December CTP 32 & 64Bit installs BSD on Precision 380
Has anyone been succesful in installing the latest Vista December CTP on the Dell Precision 380?
I get a blue screen of death (BSD) ~ 30 minutes into the install. It reboots & continues to try to install but fails a short time later.
This happens with both the 32bit & 64bit installs.
(Pentium D 3G Dual Core CPU, NVidia Quadro NVS 285 Video, 2 Gig ram)
The system runs Windows XP x64 on the C drive & I am installing Vista as dual boot onto D drive.

Pentium D 3.0Ghz Dual Core, 4GB RAM, NVidia QuadroFX 256MB PCI Express card
When I try and install it crashes just before it loads the graphical part of the installer, I found that if I removed the PCI-Express card and installed an old PCI graphics card I could install the CTP 5270 build successfully. However replacing the card again with the PCI-Express card resulted in a BSOD on boot.
The trap being caused in PCIIDEX.SYS, booting into safe mode doesn’t work either.
I've tried other PCI-Express cards without success. So for now I'm stuck running with an old PCI card. I've logged a bug report with MS.
