found new hardware wizard always wants to install a printer on power on
My Dimension 2400 with XP Home pops up the FOUND NEW HARDWARE WIZARD (printer) on power on and/or when I use it to install new harware, even when I have no printer installed. This has been going on for several months. I use a Lexmark X1150 all in one and it works fine, they have tried to solve the problem but it seems unrelated to the X1150 and no addtional printer shows up any where. I have tried several forums and even the Staples techs could not make it stop. I would appreciate any ideas on how to make this problem go away...

I made a mistake in my last reply. I do have that resistry key but when I try to delete it it says "cannot delete error while deleting key.
