On second reading, I see that you have a startup item doing that:

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [adstart] "iexplore.exe" "-embedding http://iesettingsupdate"

So you could open msconfig (click start, run, type msconfig, click OK), startup tab, uncheck the box for that item, restart your PC. A message will come up that you are in selective mode and msconfig will open; this is so that you can change back if it did not solve the problem. If you are happy, check the box on that message, and on next restart you won't get it agian.

While you are at it, you might like to check through your other startup items, to see if they are all necessary. You seem to hhave a lot of them.
