I hope this will help the people that are asking me for the Vista 64 bit drivers for the Inspiron 1501 !
Note
If these links do not have your Language use the drop down menu for each computer that is listed

Most of these 64 bit driver or for the USA and a few others !

 

1 Dell Notebook System Software Vista 32\64 bit driver is R143626.exe it comes from the Inspiron 1501 downloads.

 

2 Ricoh card reader is Vista XP Pro 64 bit driver R146465.exe it comes from the Precision M90 .

 

3 Network Ethernet Broadcom 440x10/100 Inergrated Controller is on the

Vista 64 bit DVD after you install Vista it is from Broadcom .
If someone can help me find this Dell 64 bit driver and let me know i can post it also !

4 Dell wireless 1390 and others Vista 32\64 bit driver Dell_multi-device_A17_R174292.exe it comes from the Inspiron 1501 32\64 bit.

5 Modem Conexant Vista 32\64 bit driver is R139898.exe it comes from the Precision M 90 .

 

6 Audio Sigmatel C-Mager HD Vista 32\64 bit driver R147073.exe it comes from the Inspiron 1501 .
{Note}
this driver needs to be installed after you install {Service Pack 1} or you will not get windows updates to show Service Pack 1 .

7 Synaptic Touchpad is Vista 64 bit driver R141208.exe it comes from the Precision M 90 .

 

8 Video Ati IGP integrated\motherboard Radeon Xpress 1150 Vista 64 bit 8.6 driver it comes from here .

Then
pick your Language from the drop down menu this one is for the USA version .
Dell does not have a Vista 64 bit driver that will work for the Inspiron 1501 Video !:smileytongue:

 

9 Dell Quickset Application Vista 32\64 bit driver R156212.exe it comes form the Inspiron 1501 .
Some of this may not work the way it should .  

 

 

10 If you have Rexio Creator DE 9.0 you may need this patch to upgrade

to the new version and it does work for Vista 64 bit!

make sure you have all of the Vista 64 bit drivers for your other hardware like printers
and other hardware they have to have 64 bit drivers also.
