one time replacement recovery disks...
hope i'm in the right forum. it's been a while since i've been here and i can't figure out the redone forum...
about 2 years ago i was able to receive a one time replacement of the recovery/restore disks for my dell dim 2400 for free...
i need to get the recovery/restore disks for my sisters dell dim 3000. can someone direct me to the dell link to receive these disks for her pc...
once again i apologize if i'm posting in the wrong forum...

Hi Natalie one thing also to note.
If your Dimension 2400 has Windows XP Home and her Dimension 3000 has XP Home than your XP reinstallation discs are interchangable. I guess this is the case if you are both Home users. Likewise if both are XP Professional. If one is XP Home and one is XP Professional then they are not.
Whats more you can easily duplicate the CD and bring it up to Service Pack 3 (if its not already included) by following my wiki Make an XP Service Pack 3 Reinstallation CD. Also the latest versions of drivers that Dell have made available may be found on the Dell Drivers and Downloads Page. I have wrote a wiki A Clean install of Windows which will guide you through the installation process.

FORGET IT!!! have dimension 5150 which arrived without os disk. Have product key, but nobody will honor this and send os disk. Some have said I should have made a "copy" of the disk I never received.
THESE PEOPLE WANT TO SELL YOU SOMETHING NEW, NOT HONOR SERVICE ON SOMETHING YOU'VE ALREADY PAID FOR!!!
