tcsd_win32.exe "memory cannot be written" on exit

When I shut down I get the following error "tcsd_win32.exe - memory cannot be written" and then a couple memory variables...

What is the correct course of action to fix this ?

tcsd_win32.exe is a legitimate file produced by NTRU ( www.ntru.com). NTRU provides some of the embedded cryptography functionality in Java. I encountered the same problem with a Latitude D820. Java Version 5.0 Update 5 was installed originally. Once it was upgraded to Java Version 5.0 Update 10, the *exact* problem you described first appeared.

Try uninstalling Update 10 (first) and then Update 5 (second) from Control Panel | Add/Remove Programs, restart the machine, and then re-install Java Version 5.0 Update 10 directly from java.com. In my case this solved the problem.

I have a new Latitude D820 and after fresh installation I got same error "tcsd_win32.exe - 0x.... memroy could not be writte" when closing down my computer.

As per your suggestion I checked for Jafa installation, but there was nothing installed on the computer, so I went to www.java.com to download the Java software. After installation I checked and now I got a new icon "Java" in the Control Panel and I also got a Java listed in Add/Remove Programs. The version is 5.0 update 11.

But when I close down I still get samme error, not change.

Please advice.
