Dual Monitor C50LE

Dual Monitor C50LE

Hi,
I'm attempting to run a Wyse C50LE with two monitors. I have a DVI-I to DVI-D + VGA cable. I run the VGA to one LCD monitor and the DVI-D to another. When the system boots, booth monitors work and display the console messages as the system boots. As soon as X11 starts both monitors go blank and the VGA connected monitor first displays "no signal" and then "out of range".
If I disconnect either one of the monitors the other one will work fine, just not both together.
Anyone have any idea what's going on here?

Thanks in advance!

In case anyone is still looking, the problem has been solved. It was the cables. StarTech "DVI-I male to DVI-D male + VGA male splitter" model DVIVGAYMM6. They meet the specs but don't work.
I order cables from WYSE and they work fine.

Yes, that's correct one VGA one DVI-D. I have a little more info now too......after I upgraded the OS to the latest build the VGA connected monitor will turn on but not the DVI (unless I pull the cable to the VGA monitor). Still both monitors work when the system is booting.
